Taiji Wushu is considered to be one of the varieties of Chinese martial arts and is well-known all over the world.
Taiji quan means “boxing with shadow”, it consists of two concepts. It is considered to be the sources of heaven and earth: Yin and Yang. In early times, Taiji quan was considered to be one of the varieties of martial fight. According to historical documents, the oldest style of taiji quan consists of 13 basic acts. This type, which is called Chen, is the most prevailing in the world. Nowadays taiji quan is seldom considered to be martial art; it is mainly used in health purposes.
CI organizes courses of taiji quan. The courses are conducted by qualified wushu professors from China.
Courses will give our students an opportunity to get acquainted with Chinese Martial Arts, which include some philosophical, psychological and moral principles of person’s self-perfection and special physical exercises, combined with principles of hand-to-hand fighting.
